Educational Events Committee
Educational Events
The primary role of the Hoofcare Essentials Foundation is to either "sponsor" or "support" Educational Events. The Foundation's Educational Events Committee will work to identify 8 - 10 clinic sites each year. For these "sponsored" clinics, the Foundation will work with hosts of clinics to provide an agreed upon clinician with the Foundation paying for the travel, lodging and day fees of the clinician. Ideally, these "sponsored" clinics will anticipate having a minimum of 50 attendees.
In addition, we will entertain applications from farrier associations to offer financial "support" for these clinics. The "supported" clinics will anticipate having less than 50 attendees. The number of "supported" clinics will be determined by the annual budget of the Foundation.
Each Hoofcare Essentials Foundation Committee will operate under established Guidelines and Standard Operating Procedures. These Guidelines will be reviewed on a regular basis by the Foundation's Board of Directors and amended as appropriate.
